FRANK Z. JEMISON,
JR. CHAIRMAN, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO) Frank led ALCO’s start in the development and management of apartment communities in the early 1970s and since 1975 has served as the company’s CEO. Frank is the third generation of his family to work in the real estate industry. He is an honors graduate of Princeton University with a degree in engineering and a graduate of the Harvard University Smaller Company Management Program. Frank’s expertise in apartment finance and government assisted housing programs has enabled ALCO to assemble a balanced portfolio of conventional and affordable multi-family communities. Frank serves on the boards of the Institute for Responsible Housing Preservation and the National Leased Housing Association (NLHA). He is also a member of Lambda Alpha International, an honorary land economics society.

ROBERT D. HYDE PRESIDENT, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (COO) As President of ALCO Robert is responsible for the development, acquisition, construction, management and repositioning of ALCO’s portfolio of communities. Robert joined ALCO in 2002 after serving for a number of years as the company’s outside counsel as a partner in an established Memphis law firm. During that time, Robert handled legal matters related to ALCO’s acquisition and development activities as well as matters associated with the financing, refinancing or sale of its apartment communities. He holds an accounting degree from the University of Mississippi and a Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Mississippi and Tennessee Bar Associations. |

MICHAEL D. JOHNSON EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (CAO) During his more than 30 years with ALCO, Michael helped set the strategies which contributed to the company’s significant growth and recent national recognition as one of America’s largest managers of affordable housing. He attributes the company’s success to a corporate culture which empowers property managers, site personnel and support staff to serve others and that celebrates teamwork throughout the organization. Michael started as an accounting manager with ALCO in 1980 and through the years served as controller, chief financial officer and chief operating officer. He holds an honors degree in accounting and an MBA in finance from the University of Memphis. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP). He is an active member and officer of the Southeast Area Housing Management Association (SAHMA) and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), among others. He also holds the professional designations of National Affordable Housing Professional Executive (NAHPe) and Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM). |

SONDRA M. WIMBS VICE PRESIDENT, PROPERTY MANAGEMENT Sondra has responsibility for the day-to-day management and operations of all the housing units in ALCO’s portfolio of properties. She has been with the company for more than 20 years, starting in 1991 as a district property manager. She has over 25 years of experience managing residential communities, having obtained her initial management experience with hotels and condominiums in Florida and multi-family residential communities in the Knoxville, Tennessee area. Sondra holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee along with a variety of professional designations and credentials. Sondra is a Certified Property Manager (CPM), a Registered Apartment Manager (RAM), a National Affordable Housing Professional Executive (NAHPe) and a specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM). She has held various officer positions in the Knoxville Apartment Council, Memphis Apartment Association, and the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).

M. STEWART CARLIN VICE PRESIDENT OF ASSET MANAGEMENT Stewart
has served as a financial analyst with ALCO since 1999, successfully
executing complex recapitalization plans at more than 20 communities and
reducing utility costs through specific programs at many others. In his
present post, Stewart develops and executes long-term, performance-enhancing
strategies for properties across the ALCO portfolio. He also monitors
budgets, capital requirements and the overall performance of communities

BERKELEY
C. BURBANK VICE
PRESIDENT, DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNICATIONS Berkeley joined ALCO as member of the acquisitions and
development team in 2006 and has been responsible for managing the financing
and renovation of a number of our communities. In his current role he has
broader responsibilities for organizational development, information
technology and corporate leadership.
He holds a degree in public policy from Stanford University and has
been active in the development of affordable housing since 1995. |
