On Friday, February 11, in partnership with their Service Coordinator, Vanessa Creekmore, Magnolia Terrace hosted Art Therapy Day. Research indicates art therapy can improve communication and concentration and can help reduce feelings of isolation. Art Therapy Day was a huge success and helped to foster a sense of community among the residents. Residents are now asking about the next Art Therapy Day. Kudos to the Magnolia Terrace staff, and a special thank you to Vanessa Creekmore for bringing fun and creative activities to the community for everyone to enjoy!
