ALCO Management, Inc. announced city officials have presented a City Proclamation to Bayberry Apartments. The City Proclamation was presented to Bayberry Apartments for the property’s “shining example” of what happens when people become involved in cultivating programs that promote community pride and development, said officials.

In an evening ceremony at City Hall, officials called Bayberry Apartments, “a success story.” The property-management team was recognized for improvements to the quality of resident life due to recent property upgrades and onsite developmental and service programs implemented for residents.

Avondale District 8 Councilman Anthony Byrd read the City Proclamation and presented the document to the community manager, Bonita Broadnax, and the entire Bayberry staff during the city council meeting.

“My grandmother always told me to give flowers to people while they’re here, and that’s what we try to do here,” Councilman Byrd said during the presentation ceremony. “I’m super proud you’re in my district.”

“We are delighted for our property to be recognized by the city of Chattanooga as a positive influence on the community and its residents,” said ALCO’s CEO Frank Jemison. “Building community is our passion, and we try to do that in every community where we have a presence. We are especially proud of our team. They are dedicated to our residents and provide the kind of onsite leadership that make honors like this one possible.”

Bayberry Apartments is on Wilson Street. The property was recently renovated and offers 1, 2, and 3-bedroom apartments. Amenities include an onsite playground, business center, laundry facility, and more.
